O presente projeto tem como tema central “Política e Eleições”, visto que estamos em ano de pleito eleitoral. O objetivo é promover a conscientização sobre a importância do voto. Para alcançar tal objetivo, o trabalho consistiu no modelo metodológico de pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo. Primeiramente foi feita a leitura de dispositivos de leis e sites governamentais referentes à temática abordada. Em seguida, foram realizadas atividades com os estudantes do Centro Universitário Salesiano e Colégio Salesiano, divididas em 3 etapas, quais sejam: a regularização de seus títulos eleitorais, debates sobre a importância do voto e apresentação dos candidatos e suas propostas. Como resultado percebeu-se uma busca dos alunos pela consulta de regularidade eleitoral. Apesar da grande maioria dos jovens ainda não ter tirado o título, alguns procuram o atendimento para se informar sobre o processo de emissão do mesmo. Também foi notória a reluta dos estudantes para um debate acerca de política e uma descrença nos candidatos atuais, bem como na etapa final, uma disparidade quanto aos anseios políticos dos jovens que demonstraram um forte apego aos representantes e não suas propostas. Considera-se, por esses motivos, ainda mais relevante a execução do trabalho, que provocou a consciência política e cidadã do público-alvo.

ABSTRACT: The present project has as its central theme “Politics and Elections”, since we are in an election year.  The objective is to promote awareness of the importance of voting.  To achieve this objective, the work consisted of the methodological model of bibliographic and field research.  First, the reading of provisions of laws and government websites referring to the theme was read.  Then, activities were carried out with the students of the Centro Universitário Salesiano and Colégio Salesiano, divided into 3 stages, namely: the regularization of their voter registration card, debates on the importance of voting and the presentation of candidates and their proposals. As a result, it was noticed a search of the students for the consultation of electoral regularity.  Although the vast majority of young people have not yet taken the voter registration card, some seek the service to learn about the process of issuing the same. The reluctance of the students for a debate about politics and a disbelief in the current candidates was also notorious, as well as in the final stage, a disparity regarding the political aspirations of the young people who showed a strong attachment to the representatives and not their proposals.  For these reasons, the execution of the work, which provoked the political and citizen awareness of the target audience, is considered even more relevant.
